5th April 2012

Today brought a long journey in lock free open countryside from Smeeton to Crick. I cant say it was boring because it was not, but apart from the open views there was not much else to see as we moved slowly on. As we passed the boundary for Northamptonshire I texed ||Karl my Son to see if he wanted to meet up with us at Crick, which he did.

On arrival in at Crick Wharf we moored up and had John and Jo on for tea and a chat, before making arrangements to go for dinner at the Red Lion pub in the village. Sally had a walk to the co-op for a few supplies while I had a tidy up before getting ready to go out and eat. Six thirty came and we set off for (FOOD), and waiting at the pub was Karl, so we chatted together and ate a hearty meal.

It was good to see Karl again, he is a great lad and we love him dearly.
