Not too much to say about today, except that the weather has been just great again. Although this does bring with it a water shortage which is starting to effect us.
We left Zouch this morning at 10.38 and so far have had no problems with water, we have started to here tales of lock closures further along our route, so it was a call to British waterways and to check out their web site. It would appear that the locks 38 to 31 have been closed for repair but are due to open again on the 2nd April on restricted times. (We shall have to hope, hey).
We have moored up for the night at Barrow upon Soar just above the lock at 14.10 and are all set up for The Apprentice which is on the box tonight. Socks has been for a good walk and is snoozing on the couch.
Had a chat with John, our friend from NB Acen who was very helpful this morning, and we look forward to meeting them sometime during next week.
