Up early this morning as Sally wanted to visit the car boot sale in Stainforth, which we did, I got two or three bits of fishing tackle, while Sally bought some vegetables and leather storage boxes for the bathroom. It was then off heading for Thorne to meet up with old friends at Bluewater marina, where we fitted out the boat last year.

Once we got moored up at Thorne we had a quick visit around the marina, renewing old friendships until our guests for the day arrived. At around 14.30 Brenda and Ian arrived and we settled down to some tea and sandwiches (well some of us did, but Brenda was on the brown nectar).
Next came coffee and biscuits whilst sat outside enjoying the sunshine and good conversation. Ian did bring a DVD of photographs of himself and Brenda, taken over the last two years of trips and holidays (excellent, must do one ourselves of our trips).
They eventually left for home at around 18.00 after a great day.
