Monday 8th August

We left Bardney making for Tattershall leaving at 10.40 and arriving at 14.00 and by the time we moored up the wind was quite strong. There is not too much to say about the trip only that I found the Witham to be wide and very boring as the river banks are high and blank out any scenery.
We did however see some wildlife and Sally managed to spot a grass snake swimming across the duck weed.
Arriving at Tattershall we were grateful for the help of other boaters in coming along side the pontoon as the wind was fighting to keep us off it.
