A day for jobs and the warmth of the boat

What a day, we woke to rain and figured that we would delay setting off till about 11.00 and hope that the rain would be gone by then. But no, in fact it came down faster, so a change of plan was called for and that was the wardrobes.
While at home I had prepared some timber for shelving out the starboard side wardrobe, and with it being wet I started out by stripping out the cloths and the racks that we had been using. The next two hours saw the shelving complete, and I took the honour of taking the top two shelves for my cloths, leaving the bottom two bigger shelves for Sally.
Proud of my efforts I sat down to start a new book, on my new Kindle e-reading book which is all that they say about them and all good. Later after Sally had done her bit by putting away her cloths we sat down to watch Cold Mountain on the DVD, sat by the fire.
