Up early today, showered and shaved. Next thing was to empty the fridge and pack the remaining food before going around the house shutting everything down before leaving. Jobs done, car loaded, it was time for Socks and his crate and off to the boat at Boston visitors moorings.
All done and on the boat it was time for me to take the car home and collect Gypsy, the ships cat. All secured my friend Bop came to collect me and take me back, with Lorna and Andrew who were going to spend some time with us.
At around 14.00 we all set off for a cruise up to Langrick and back to let them see and experience our water born home. I have to say that to my surprise Lorna enjoyed the trip immensely which was a shock as she has a fear of boats and water. Andrew their son had a great time skippering the boat on the way back into Boston which could be seen by the wide grin on his face.
Back at Boston we said our goodbyes and set off on the next stage of this years trip, leaving Boston around 17.30. With the river being overgrown with weed we made Langrick and decided to moor for the evening on the pontoon moorings for a fresh start in the morning.
