At last we have been paid out against our claim on Rosé Narrowboats and can proceed with the repairs before we set off this year. We are booked in at Streethay Wharf on the 25th March to have the work done and while its out of the water we can black the hull..
The boat has sat idle since we got back in October 2012, and on Monday I am going down for three days to do a few jobs and get her ready for this years trip which is; down the union to London, the Regents canal to Limehouse and on to the Thames. We plan to do the Basingstoke and the Wey before heading for the Kennet and Avon.
