Wednesday 27th

Peter and Pamela arrived after breakfast at their B&B and we made a joint trip to the Railway Museum, not a place I really wanted to go, however I thoroughly enjoyed it. During a call to my Mother I discovered that my Uncle Ken who was an engine driver had driven the Mallard during his career.

Back at the boat a few more G&T's and the time for us to leave York was fast approaching, so a last bit of shopping for Sally before setting off at 16.45 after two weeks in this wonderful City. With our goodbyes we were off, heading for Naburn lock ready for an early start tomorrow, arriving at 18.00 were we topped up the water and did our housekeeping before settling down for the night.
