Still in Boston

As you can see we are still in Boston and are getting ready for our trip to Hampshire for a birthday party.
We have got a lot done at home and have had a few visitors to the boat, friends and family who had not yet seen it.
First we had my Grandson Adam who came to see us to collect a laptop for his studies at university which start in September, (well done Adam you have worked hard).

Adam stayed over at ours for the night and we had a great time catching up on all the things that we had done and the fun we had in Canada during his six week stay with us out there.

Next was a visit by Sally's in laws from her marriage to Graham, as she still treats them like family, and of course them her. Sadly we did not take and photos, but we did have a good time, starting with lunch out and then back to the boat. After seeing my work I have now got to make a table top for them when we finally moor up for the winter, and it will be a pleasure.

Our final visit was from Kate and Tony, old friends of Sally's and I am pleased to say (now mine). We had dinner on the boat and for me a little too much wine, for as a none drinker it went straight to my head (must have been the good company). after dinner we chatted for what seemed like ages before they had to set off back home to be ready for WORK :) But we expect to see them again soon for a weekend on the boat before the winter sends us home.

Finally, we know that summer is coming to a close because of this sight on the wires outside our home.
The gathering of the swallows getting ready for their long flight home.
